In the hit tv-show 'The O.C.' the ever-troubled Marissa Cooper falls slowly for the rebel Alex Kelly. She accepts that she feels something for a girl which is a big step. They spend a lot of time together, in the case of Marissa a rather happy time which is quite unusual for her. They move in together and they break up shortly after that. That's the whole story as it was shown on tv. I really wish Marissa wouldn't have died in a car crash later on, I wish there would have been a chance for us imagining that some day in the future the two will get back together again. So I am in denial, are you too?
